What permission is required to use customer lists for ad targeting?

Before uploading customer lists containing email addresses or phone numbers for Meta Custom Audiences, you must have valid consent under KVKK and permission-based marketing rules. Permission should be specific and informed, with its source and scope recorded. TACT's publishing approval occurs before an ad is sent to the platform, but it does not replace the required legal consent.

Step by step

  1. Verify each person's permission for marketing and targeting.
  2. Check the source, date, and scope of the permission in your records.
  3. Remove people without permission or with uncertain consent status.
  4. Prepare only the necessary email or phone data.
  5. Recheck compliance before uploading the list to TACT for Meta Custom Audiences.
  6. Complete the explicit human approval step inside TACT before publication.
